Welcome to the 2007 racing season. As you can see we have new graphics on the car and to make a larger difference we have a new 2006 gsxr1000 fuel injected motor. Last year the 1216cc didnt quite want to keep up so were gonna try this one.. All these engines must remain stock and untouched according to the TUSA rules.. Well see.

Yreka April 28th

We took the new car to Yreka for a shakedown run.. The track was very rough and the car was fast but I could not get a handle on it with the rough track. So we freed the car up for the main and she just took off. I was putting them to school until lap 12 or so and then I spun the car out of four... Just couldn't ease up and take care had to keep pushing her.. OH well the car runs good and we are now ready for Medford on the 5th.

Medford May 5th

Heat race .........1st.... B Main.............3rd.... A Main.............3rd....

Opening race at Medford and everything seemed okay until they posted the starting heats and dash. I was not listed and after checking I found that my transponder was not registering in the booth. Penalty for that is start in the back of your heat and the B Main. Okay we can deal with this and I won the slow heat from the rear. Had the B main won from the rear and forgot they race to the yellow here so got second. Started shotgun on the field in the A main and was making good progress. Caught the leaders at the flag but one lap to late. Maybe I can get them next race.. Great night and off to get married now.

Medford May 19th

Time Trial..... 1st...Heat Race......3rd......Main Event......DNF

Car was just fabulous...Set fast time in time trials and then sat back a watched in the dash. Track was very rough and stickey..Laid back in heat race also and got third and made the changes necessary for the main.. Invert was 12 so I satrted the main outside row 6 and going into turn one someone thought that they could take a short cut through the infield I guess. Top of the track to the bottom only problem was I was coming through the middle and could not miss the cutter.. Destroyed the front of the car and the night was done. One of these days they will learn that you have to finish to win..Got a lot of work to do for next race..

Medford June 2nd

Time Trial.....12th.......Heat Race.......1st...Main Event.....21st. crash

The car was a little pushy in the time trial and we got 12th...Still working out the kinks from the crash last race. Made some adjustments and went out and won the heat race. Line up 6th row outside for the main and was moving forward when the car just shot sideways and then rolled over in turn 2... Come to find out I had a hiem joint that was cracked and didnt see it so it broke in the main and caused a lot of damage.. Back to the shop for repairs and maybe next race will be kinder to us..

Medford June 16th

Sorry for the delay in updating the site but I was so burned out after crashing the car for the third week in a row, (none of which were my fault), that I parked the car and bought and bass boat and am enjoying fishing instead.. (I was run into the wall in turn 4 as I was passing on the out side in the heat race of all things.) the frame is destroyed and the motor was cracked and still sitting in the shop on jack stands. I am not sure if I am going to return to racing or not. Having fun doing things Ive never done before and enjoying the time with my new wife.. So take care and maybe I will return later this year or possibly next year.... or NOT.....
