TIME TRIALS...........4TH
Heat race.............5th
Main Event... Started 9th and worked toward front... 4th on restart after red flag for oil on track.... leader forgot to tighen drain plug....Moved to second on outside pass and looked for leader who was half lap gone and after 15 laps ran him down and made two attempts to pass but failed and then race shortend to 25 laps due to time.. Will take second any night and wait til next week... Good opening night for us..

MAIN EVENT.............4TH
MAIN EVENT... Started back row outside.... had quite a few yellows as the boys in mid pack were mixing it up pretty good.. moved the car to the high side and started picking cars off but was not easy due to push and heavy traffic... managed to move into sixth with three laps to go and then passed two more on last lap to come home in 4th.. new 406 engine is working awesome and the 4th place should keep us in the points lead...

MAIN EVENT..... Started last row inside..... lots of traffic inside and outside.. Started moving forward slowly to around tenth and just got boxed in traffic and could not move forward.... managed to sneak around two more on the outside and then had the sixth place car just flat block the track for me... Driving the mirror he went from top to bottom and kept cutting me off....could not pass and finished 7th for the night... Still leading points barely.....

MAIN EVENT........We started the night with the news that we had slipped to third in the points so we were really trying to find something to make this car handle better off the corners... timed in 6th and missed the dash but WE FOUND IT... Made a few changes to go with it and won the fast heat by about half lap...Started 9th in the main inside row 5....after some jockeying for position moved to high side and the car took off... took the lead on lap 13 and never looked back until lap 34 and nobody was there..... yes we spanked em........and that should put us back in the points lead with two wins....

MAIN EVENT....................6TH
MAIN EVENT.......Started last due to fast time and was moving forward rapidly until I got chopped down on in turn three..In the melee that followed wound up with a car on top of me.... Had flat right front and some damage but pitted and fixed what we could and resarted last....moved through pack quickly to catch lead pack and race was called due to time constraints.... take what you can get Should leave us with 4 point lead for championship.... well take it...

MAIN EVENT....................2ND
MAIN EVENT.......Started 13th inside row seven...Got boxed in for few laps and some cars got by and then the carnage started... Fast timer started a destruction derby trying to get through the field, and after spinning the his third car the black flag came out and he was gone....THANK YOU... Now lets go racing...Managed to miss all the carnage and started about 8th or 9th with 20 laps to go..Very slowly moved thru the pack and with 5 to go made outside pass to get third and on last lap made inside pass to get second... All my sponsor's family was there along with many friends so what a night to come from the back..Sponsor's now willing to help with new car next year... Came out with 14 point lead for championship with one race to go and 200.00 richer....Yeah...yeah...

FAST HEAT......................2ND
MAIN EVENT......Started sixth row inside... Had major crash in turn one and four cars were out at start... Luckily I missed the melee...Complete restart and was moving forward fast on the outside..Caught leaders and was running third when car started to slip in corners...Saw smoke coming from right front and knew that the fuel pump was puking oil again as it happened in the heat...We had wrapped rags around it to catch the oil if it happened again....It kept pumping oil each lap and was putting it on the right rear tire but not enough to get black flagged and we just held on and tried not to lose car in corners....We took third and then found out that my competion for the championship went out in the first crash melee......SOOOOOOO!
WE ARE THE 2000 OREGON STATE IMCA CHAMPION....YES YES YES....
