1. Success in the Martial Arts will depend on how well you get others to go along with your goals, plans, etc.; and how well you can motivate them.
2. You must constantly motivate your students to train long and hard in order to progress.
3. The Martial Arts is a people business, not a punch-kick routine where people automatically come in and pay so that they can study at the hands of the great master.
4. You are in the business to make money and the only way to do it is to be sucsessful with others.
5. Keep quiet and listen to what your students say.
6. How to make your students feel important:
The bottom line is simply this; your attitude toward people will determine their attitude toward you. Since your success is related to those around you, you must know how to move them to your cause.
As an experiment, try this. For the next week, treat everyone you meet as though they were the most important person on earth. Try it and see if it doesn't begin to awaken a fantastic new facet of your personality. See if it doesn't make you more effective in dealing with others and draw others to you.
